Trying to keep track of license announcements can be difficult so the purpose of this thread is to act as a central clearing house for new anime licenses as they are announced. In addition, with the use of Thread Subscriptions and the Notification option, you can be emailed every time this thread is updated. To enable this, first click on the Thread Tools drop-down menu (located just above) and then select Subscribe to this Thread. You will then be given the option of the different "Notification Type" you have available, select "Instant notification by email" or one of the other options as you wish.
Email notification will mean you no longer have to check the various sites for Convention Reports (where a lot of the announcements are made) or Press Releases to see if something new has been licensed, you are now emailed directly whenever this thread is updated
Please note that this thread is primarily for anime fansub series that are announced as being licensed, we do not plan to include all the pre-release licenses as well (since this can be more difficult to determine). The bottom line is that if a fansub has been listed on AnimeSuki at some point in time and is then licensed, we will try and update this thread once we hear of the license announcement.
